Mumbai rains Highlights: The Regional Meteorological Department (Mumbai) issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar today and warned of extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places in Konkan. Stay tuned for the latest news with Live Education Mirror.

rains Highlights: The Regional Meteorological Department (RMC)-Mumbai issued a
yellow alert for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar and warned of extremely heavy
rainfall at isolated places in Konkan. In its weather report, RMC stated,
“Heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places with extremely heavy rainfall at
a isolated places very likely to occur in districts of Konkan."
Meanwhile,
a red alert for heavy showers is in place for Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg. Two
other districts of Maharashtra including Satara and Kolhapur are on orange
alert.
On
Saturday, heavy rains lashed the financial capital leading to severe
waterlogging in various parts of the city. The authorities had to restrict
traffic movement and shut Andheri subway amid waterlogging. Moreover, heavy
rains left the vicinity of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport
inundated.
